entrepreneurSHIP - Susan Crowther

Susan is the owner and founder of Steps Performing Arts Center located in Spanish Fork, Utah. For 17 years she has been teaching and inspiring students, ages 3 to 99. Comprised of a talented team of dance instructors, STEPS offer both recreational and performing classes, and a chance to be a part of their award winning competition teams - Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Tumbling, Hip Hop, Show Choir for all levels, beginning to advanced. As she shares her story, students will get to hear about this fascinating industry, and how hard work can turn a little girl’s dream into the business of creating beauty through dance.

Over the past 25 years, he has realized we all have gifts to share, and one of the most important things we can accomplish in life is figuring out our gifts and refining them to make the lives of those around us easier, more enjoyable, productive, and satisfying. Perry’s venues of service have ranged from insurance and financial services to starting and selling door-to-door sales companies. He has always had his foot in real estate, where he has nurtured his own portfolio, and for the past 13 years has helped his clients buy, sell, and invest in their own portfolios.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP - ROXANNA MAURER

Roxanna Maurer has been serving women in Utah for about 30 years as a midwife and mentor. From her soft voice to her well of knowledge, she inspires confidence in her clients as they grow new life and prepare for motherhood. She has the heart of a teacher, and her kids have had front row seats to her wisdom as they are a homeschooling family. Through the ups and downs of life, Roxanna has been a light to those around her, especially to the moms seeking to “walk on water” through their birthing experience.

She will teach about the 9 ways to build a good name for yourself in business.

Meet Matt Evans, the mastermind behind Treeline Transformation! Although the name might make you think of trees, Treeline is actually a super cool company that helps other big companies do even better. It's like they're the secret helpers behind the scenes!

Imagine working with famous companies like Amazon, Wells Fargo, and Coca-Cola – that's what Matt does! He's like a superhero for these companies' leaders, showing them new and awesome ways to make their companies run smoother.

Here's the cool part: Matt and his team talk to the big bosses at these companies to learn how they want things to work. Then, they come up with smart plans to help everyone in the company work together better. They focus on things like making customers happier, working faster, and trusting each other more. The big, businessy words for that is to help them build digital operating models and human-centered change strategies to navigate the complexities of strategic transformations. What a mouthful!

So, in simple words, Matt is a pro at making companies awesome by helping people work together happily. He's excited to show you how running a company can be fun and how you can even make money by being a people helper!

book report presentation - family choice

Families will choose a book to read and discuss at home. Children 12 and older will do a book report about the principles/lessons he/she learned from the book. Younger children are encouraged to bring a “show and tell” to exemplify what they learned. This can be a craft, a coloring page or painting, a lego structure they built, a drawing depicting a scene from the book, etc.
